How We Protect Kids' Data

Dreams Hockey was built by a hockey dad for his own kid. That's the standard for everything on this page: if it wouldn't be good enough for my kid, it doesn't ship. Here's exactly what we collect about yours, what we never touch, and the controls you hold — in plain English. The full legal version is in our Privacy Policy.

What we collect about your kid

Four things: first name, age, position, and — only if you or their coach turn on a supervised login — a login handle and PIN. Plus their training activity: which drills they've done, which videos they've watched. That's it. That's what it takes to run a training plan, and we stopped there.

What we never collect from a kid

What we never do

How kid logins work

A kid signs in with a handle and a 6-digit PIN that you (or their coach, with your say-so) set up — the PIN is stored the same way banks store passwords, scrambled beyond recovery. Their account can't touch billing, settings, or team management; it sees their schedule, their drills, and their progress. When they scan their login card's QR code, the code works once and is useless if copied. Every login we enable records who consented and when.

You hold the keys

One honest footnote

When your kid opens a drill clip that you or their coach saved from YouTube, X, TikTok, or Facebook, it plays through that platform's standard embedded player — same as it would on any website — and that platform may set its own cookies. YouTube runs in its privacy-enhanced mode (no cookies until play is pressed), and nothing loads until the video is opened. We'd rather tell you that plainly than bury it in fine print.
